Vital-sign estimation drill
Pulse Rate Practice
Listen to a simulated regular pulse, count beats for 15 or 30 seconds, calculate the rate, then check your estimate. The goal is to get comfortable with the mechanics of rate estimation—not to diagnose a rhythm from a metronome.

What this simulator does—and does not do
The audio is a synthetic timing cue, not a recorded human pulse or ECG rhythm. It is designed only to train rate-counting mechanics. A real pulse assessment also includes location, strength, regularity, symmetry when relevant, and the patient’s overall perfusion.
